We are seeking a skilled part-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to our patients and assist in promoting good oral health practices.
**Responsibilities:**
Provide gentle and thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
Conduct patient screenings and oral health assessments
Apply fluoride treatments as needed
Take x-rays (if qualified)
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Assist the dentist with various procedures as needed
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Ensure sterilization protocols are followed
**Qualifications:**
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Texas
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional care
Proficiency in Dental office software, such as OpenDental or Dentrix
