an independent, queer-owned dental practice in Washington, DC dedicated to providing trauma-informed, inclusive care to all smiles—especially those too often overlooked in traditional settings. We are currently seeking a passionate, licensed Dental Hygienist to join our affirming, energetic, and patient-centric team.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough prophylaxis and non-surgical periodontal therapy
- Use advanced screening tools to assess periodontal disease and educate patients on findings
- Xray, sterilization, and participation in routine office infection control standards
- Collaborate with our dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming office culture
- Provide affirming care to a diverse patient base, including LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC, American Indian and Alaskan Native communities.
What We’re Looking For
- Current DC Dental Hygiene License
- Ability to use local anesthesia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to patient-centered, inclusive care
- Commitment to ongoing learning in periodontics, communication, and affirming healthcare
