Looking for an energetic, motivated and friendly PATIENT-FOCUSED individual to join our growing PEDIATRIC dental practice. You should have at least 1 year of experience in a private pediatric dental setting, and ideally have your EXPANDED FUNCTIONS CERTIFICATE and be up-to-date with your CPR certification. You are expected to be reliable, timely, dependable, and compassionate with children and their families.
Day-to-day job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Chair-side assisting with doctor
· Coronal polishing
· Etching, bonding, and Placing sealants
· Clinic organization and maintenance
· Taking radiographs
· Perform proper sterilization techniques and complying with all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
· Order and stock supplies
· Use correct grammar to chart patient findings and complete clinical treatment notes in clinical software
· Provide proper post-operative instructions to patients and their families
· Knowledge of oral conscious sedation protocols is a plus, but not necessary
Our office utilizes the newest technologies, such as lasers for surgery and treatment, as well as online calendars and chats to communicate to one another within the office.
Being comfortable with technology is a must and we will happily train you. Every office does things a little differently, so long as you possess strong critical thinking skills and can adapt quickly, you will be trained and guided to a successful and happy career in our office.
