We are looking for only experienced dental assistants who are self-starters, friendly and can easily build rapport with patients. We are hiring immediately.

Job Overview
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting dental care delivery and ensuring smooth operations within the dental office.

Duties
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures
- Take digital dental X-rays
- Sterilize instruments and equipment

-Maintenance on back office equipment
- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software Open Dental

-Monthly Inventory and Ordering

Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with dental coding for insurance billing purposes
- Understanding of anatomy to assist in dental procedures
- Experience with 3D scanners for digital impressions
- Exposure to various specialties like veneers, crowns and general dentistry

Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients on the importance of dental care.
  • Patient communication by phone, email and text
  • Accurately complete required forms and paperwork.
  • Cultivate a friendly relationship with patients and staff.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Scheduling new appointments, recalls and treatment
  • Collecting copays and submitting claims
  • Our team members are cross-trained and our front office team also assists in the back office as needed
  • Collections: posting insurance payments and sending statements
  • Outstanding claims: manage and maintain collections at 98%
  • Plan tracker: Calling patients on a schedule for unscheduled treatment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
