About the Role
As the first point of contact for patients, families, and referring providers, the Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in setting the tone for the patient experience. You’ll be responsible for greeting patients, managing the appointment calendar, maintaining patient records, and coordinating with team members to ensure daily operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally at check-in and check-out

Schedule new and returning patient appointments using a CRM system

Coordinate patient flow with clinical and administrative teams

Respond to inquiries related to scheduling, billing, and treatment planning

Manage multiple calendars and ensure accurate data entry

Assist with financial arrangements and insurance coordination as needed

Support social media outreach (experience a plus but not required)

Maintain a high standard of communication and professionalism with patients and team members
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a dental office, preferably in orthodontics

At least 2 years of customer service experience in a high-volume setting

Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)

Comfortable using scheduling software and CRM tools

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
