We are seeking a full-time dental assistant with at least 3 years of experience to join our close-knit team. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, creating dental temporaries, and ensuring that patients feel comfortable and well informed. Ideal candidates will possess an independent mindset and a strong desire to learn and support the team in any capacity.

Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring they are sterilized and ready for use.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Record and update patient medical documentation accurately, including vital signs and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix or similar dental software systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Support administrative tasks such as billing and insurance verification when necessary.
Requirements
- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures is essential.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy.
- Experience with taking vital signs and performing basic medical documentation.
- Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and safety measures.
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
